What Our Customers Are Saying
Mitch knows exercise. I have always been a casual work out person and wanted to add accountability and routine. Mitch had provided that and so much more, he has taught me a great deal and I am already feeling stronger.

I’ve been working out with Mitch for almost a year. First at a gym, now at home. He is really good! He is very conscientious of my back issues and pushes me just hard enough, but not so hard that re-injure myself. I would highly recommend Mitch as a personal trainer. I am much stronger from working out with him.

I’ve been a client of Mitch Barker’s for a few months now and I very highly recommend his services. I started seeing Mitch after I re-herniated 2 discs in my lower back. I could hardly move for two weeks and had to crawl to get around. The reoccurring injury has held me back for 14 years and I’m 31 now. After this last incident, I was finally ready to make a move and find a great trainer. I am so happy to say that I did! Mitch has been a life saver and I am so thankful for his help in getting my life back. Not only am I getting back to sports and normal Colorado activities, I’m starting to gain my confidence again and not worry about re-injury. Mitch has helped develop a great plan for me to strengthen my back and body so that I can live in peace again after living in fear for so long. Absolutely give Mitch a call!

Frequently Asked Questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial contact to the client is made by our management team-where we will schedule a phone consultation. The purpose of the call is to find our best trainer to match with the client. First, we want to find a trainer that is taking clients near your location. Next, we need to make sure that the trainer is good fit for the client and their goals. After the client has been matched with the appropriate trainer, the client will be contacted by their new trainer-at which point they will set a date for an initial in-person evaluation. The client will then work exclusively with their new 2U trainer.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
1. Make sure the trainer is thorough in gathering information and assessing your specific needs during the first session. A great trainer needs to be able to meet a new client right where they are on their fitness journey. The trainer needs to know how to design a program that will challenge the client, but won’t overwork/injure them. The client shouldn’t feel like they need a wheelchair to get around after their first session with their trainer. As the client progresses in their workouts, the trainer must know how to scale up the intensity in a safe and effective manner.
2. Make sure it’s a good fit. There is definitely a relationship component to regularly working with a personal trainer. Things will go much more smoothly if your trainer’s personality and temperament mesh well with your own.
